Been using Wix/Napa gold filters for many years and miles now. Oil filter is not what you should be worrying about imo. It's the fuel filter.
I ran a 7? Micron Wix filter for about 115kmi on my Cummins then replaced the injectors.
Fuel system needs the additional 2 micron filtration as determined by thousands of premature injector replacements! Now have a 2 micron Glacier filter setup inline after the Oe filter.
