I ran a 7? Micron Wix filter for about 115kmi on my Cummins then replaced the injectors.
Fuel system needs the additional 2 micron filtration as determined by thousands of premature injector replacements! Now have a 2 micron Glacier filter setup inline after the Oe filter.
That is why I run the Baldwin fuel filters, as I understand they are rated at 5 microns. so again, hope I am good to go for many more trouble free miles.
