Barry...the OP has a F150 that came with P tires and replaced them with a Cooper AT3 in a 35x12.50R-20 LT E at 3195 lbs capacity. Makes the door post tire placard useless for best tire pressure in this application.
I know you were around before the tire placard became mandatory in '06 on all domestic vehicles.
So.... were all throwing around what we do in the OPs case or when our truck doesn't have a tire placard. I have a '98 one ton DRW and a '03 2500 without the tire placard.
I understand the tire maker recommending the tire placard pressure as he has no idea how much load that particular vehicles axle(s) are carrying at a given time.
