proper way to hook up weight distribution hitch

Can someone point me to a good tutorial on hooking up my weight distribution hitch? Id love others input on how they do it..
I just wanna make sure im doing it correctly to maximize the benifits of my hitch. The search feature doesn't seem to work right.....
