Protecting Front Cap Paint and Decals from Fading

I have been reading both here and on other forums about the paint and decals on front caps of both campers and trailers fading and oxidizing. Has anyone ever tried to have the clear 3M protectant inst...

Does the 3M stuff have any UV protection built in? If not you will still end up with an oxidized front cap to deal with. Go buy the best RV/Marine or aircraft wax you can find. Wax it thoroughly and often, and it will look as good the day you sell it as the day you bought it.
