Pulling a trailer with a 2014 Ram question
Is any one pulling a 7000 pound 32 foot long trailer with a 2014 Ram with a V-8, 5.7L, 6 speed ? If so have you got enough power, etc Jack L

2013 RAM 1500, 5.7 HEMI, 6 speed, 3:73 rear end, 1668# payload.
Like others have said, I would be more concerned with payload over power. Plus a good WDH/anti-sway system.
For what it is worth...my book on the 1500 has MAX towing slighlty over 10,000lbs (depending on model), but list standard towing at 5000lbs. I prefer to be closer to the standard number. Gives me a sense of warmth knowing that I have some margin.
