If I got to a few lakes around here within 75 miles distance I pull my 15' Gregor fishing boat behind my 23' Pioneer TT, I went to Harbor Freight and bought an LED light kit, then added extra length wires to use the 4X plug on the truck.
I was actually pulled over by CHP just to check my License. That was it! He liked my set up and asked where I was going.. The boat motor is a two stroke so I am limited to flat land lakes..
My boat trailer tows as straight as an arrow so I am not worried about it.
When we get to the camp site I drop the boat and back the trailer in, then I can run the boat to the dock and more it there.. Most places its $5 to $10 extra a day to store trailer and a fee to launch.. But its worth it!!
