pumping creek water
I boondock about 25' from a creek on a regular basis. and am wondering if there is a way to pump water into my rig using a sump or sumpin'. has any body ever done this and where can i get one? Thanks ...

As for the contaminate water on your skin thing. I swim in the local lakes. And, friends of mine eat the fish out of them. I live in the middle of industrialized agriculture. Our local lakes are brown year around. I'm not dead quite yet.
I will say in the late season around here you have to be careful with your pets. We are starting to get a lot of Blue Green Algae blooms. If you pets drink that water they die. After about the 4th of July I start leaving the pets home or, I'm very careful to keep them out of the water.
