Purchasing of 2nd TT and want opinions/ suggestions please.

All these request are doable. I am working on deals right now. 8K is unloaded vehicle weight by the way. 3/4 ton Suburban 8.1 for tow vehicle. I'm about $2,000 away from making a deal right now for a new freedom express 320 patriot edition with all the upgrades. I just wanted to make sure I was not missing a travel trailer that I have not seen before. I love the azdel walls on the coachmans.

There are only three bunks but the bottom can fit two small kids. There is also a another bed mat that is stored under the bottom bed that can be used to put on the floor for a 4th sleeping area. Depending on features you should be able to pick it up between 27K - 33K depending on features.

Most true bunkhouse with bunks for 4 teenagers are not going to have an outside kitchen. Or someone is going to get a very small bunk !

Item 3 is going to get you over your weight limit, especially when loaded. Some TT manufacturers have "super slide" in the living dining area that is big enough for a U-shaped dinette and a love seat.

Dream on for item 7, unless you find something used.

I can't seem to find this model. Most open ranges are super heavy and come with a big price tag too.

Open Range units are in the 10-11 K loaded range.
You only list dry weight. What are your loaded weight criteria?
8k dry should be be at least 10K wet to have a decent CCC.

My advice is to consider all opinions, take your best guess at what you want, then Rent a similar sized and weight TT.

We did and we learned a lot about the TT we thought we wanted, before we spent the big bucks.

Can anyone chime in on the keystone Bullet's quality and durability?

I can attest to Keystone Bullet quality! We have a Bullet 285 RLS, ( 30 ft box with rear living. We have had it 3 years and have not had a single item malfunction. I have seen nothing but positive reports on Bullets on this website! We have a single 11' wide slide and large rear window with 2 recliners. They also make bunkhouse models. As an Ultralight they are all aluminum frame and fiberglass exterior but deluxe amenities. As an Ultralight , ours weighs under 6000 with a tongue weight under 600 lbs. Check them out!

Mainly small but irritating that they did not do it correctly or spent the time to do it. We have a problem with the floor that feels like it is cracked or there was a knot in the plywood the broke we will be addressing in a few weeks as the season is ending here in WI. Minus that probably similar issues you get with any new RV. The door in the back actually worked out to be a nice feature. We put a blanket on the lower bunk and we can load all the chairs, a table and whatever else we put back there thru the back door as there is not much outside access. We got the upgraded package which included power jacks, roller blinds and some other stuff. We also opted for the recliners (one broke) instead of the couch.

We bought one this spring. Nice camper all around but a little disappointed with the build quality. Has to go back to the shop with a one page list of repairs.

If you don't mind me asking, are the issues small or big? I'm not crazy about the door in the bunkroom. Thank you for sharing this model though. I have not seen it before.
