I've spent the last 10 years traveling the Western US for work. I NEVER saw rust. Last year, my territory changed and I picked up some upper mid-west (Dakota's, Nebraska, Iowa). Now I see rust on vehicles ALL the time. And it doesn't matter the brand.
Last year I was looking to pick up a full size SUV. I almost bought a Escalade in Iowa. It was a 2013, with 60,000 miles. Exterior looked flawless, interior was well taken care of. Then I looked under it and saw all the rust.
Nutz, don't tell me that any one manufacture is better than another. They all rust in the wrong conditions.
