A very vast difference between a simple to correct recall and a mandated by the Government take off the road and a mandated buyback must be offered. Too bad that's so far beyond your comprehension perhaps?
All the recalls on the Ram were just as simple to correct as the ignition switch. You are just grabbing for stuff because you hate FCA so much. IDK what GM truck you have but here's one that GM is suggestion the owners not drive their brand new trucks.

Here's one for 4 million . Keep in mind, these are all brand new vehicles.

Yeah, GM has their quality taken care of. It goes all across the board bud, not just Ram and GM. - transamz9Explorer

And yet nutz also thinks that GM's ignition switch fiasco that killed and maimed people was the victim's fault. Even though GM admitted their wrong doing.
IIRC the victims were primarily females that had 10 lbs. of trinkets/photos/etc. hanging on their key chains and that caused the problem.

Bumpy, that's like saying that it was the vehicles fault that rear ended the Jeeps causing the gas tanks to leak and catch fire. - BumpyroadExplorer

bumpy - DakotaDadExplorerPeople wonder where radicals come from, but look how worked up we get over something as simple as pickup trucks! GM jihad? Allahu Powerstroke? Ram is Great. Can you imagine if it were anything important, like religion or politics? Or have trucks become a religion?
Anyone telling me what to buy, or not buy, is welcome to pay the bill. If they pass on that, their convictions clearly don't run that deep.
Arguing can be fun, but man, sometimes we lose perspective... - TurnThePageExplorerAnd yet nutz also thinks that GM's ignition switch fiasco that killed and maimed people was the victim's fault. Even though GM admitted their wrong doing.

The problem with the 05 Ram we recently purchased is the entire top of the dashboard from the middle to the passenger side is entirely gone due to the dash cracking and falling apart. The 07 Ram is ok but has a carpet liner on the dash it's entire life.
I would have to say that CR reports appear more accurate to me than JD Powers per our experience.
It just makes zero sense to me why in the world you guys keep buying trucks that have always been proven to be junk! I just don't understand........ - transamz9Explorer

It's so humorous watching these Dodge Ram bloviaters and BS'ers try to defend their vehicle purchases in the face of year after year published facts as to the poor reliability and long term quality of Fiat Chrysler trucks and vehicles. Here's just a one of the so many documented and truthful examples of how bad the actual experienced quality and reliability of FCA and Chrysler vehicles actually are. BTW, this is just one example only specifies 11 MILLION Chrysler FCA vehicles sold. These 11 million recalled and mandated buybacks are not for just simple issues!
That's all, just a tiny amount of 11 MILLION and Chrysler FCA vehicles sold poor selling FCA vehicles sales volume is just a small fraction of what Ford and GM had sold during the same time frame. Gigantic fine and mandated off the road and a buyback must be offered to the owners of over 500,000 Dodge FCA pickups alone! 500,000 pickups may be a lot but it's just a small part of the 11 million in just this one recall. The purchasers of a vehicle certainly ought to have some respect for the lives of the passengers and family they have in their vehicles even if they don't seem to have for their own!
OK, Dodge FCA pom pom boys, spin your utter BS like you do continuously!

Just one of the dozens of articles of very poor quality and very poor reliability along with very premature rust out experienced that they got caught with and FCA could not refute at all! Facts are Facts! Simply research it and learn! Think about the terrible resale value or trade in value you will be left with even after having spent huge dollars over the years to have even kept the FCA vehicle running as proven by the decades of the automotive repair industry documented reports. A double whammy on your wallet and do logical thinking buyers really feel that's OK or great?
Carry on boys!
Did one yahoo research search. Should I do more? GM has always made the best quality vehicle right?

Interesting that you claim such great weather in the PNW USA and never mention they very high number of days of rain and altitude highway travel for so many mandating chains on in winter. Yes, we have been there many times so don't make stupid statements.
Putting it to a proper perspective: There ins't squat for the percentage of the USA population that live in the PNW. Maybe 20 million people out of the 330,000,000 that live in the USA and yet you think like so many out there that what works where you live will work with ~7% of the nation's population can speak for and tell the other 93% of the nation's population what's best. Some news for you: It ain't squat in actual reality! There's a reason and/or reasons why only ~7% of the USA population chooses to live in the PNW!
