Quartzfest for Ham Radio

Question

Is anyone here planning to attend QuartzFest?  (Jan 2019) A week of boondocking near QuartzSite in the Sonoran desert with Amateur Radio folk and activities.  I have never been but hoping to learn some new tricks for ham radio and antenna installations in truck campers.

That looks like a cool event!  Wished there was something like that in my area.  I wonder if there is a special event station for that.

We'll be there then, but can't boondock right now since our fridge doesn't want to work on propane.  My truck/camper is already setup with the HAM rig and can be used in the truck or the TC.

Highly recommend anyone with an RV attempt to attend.
