Question about Dexcool coolant

Not really tow vehicle related, but the wife has a Chevy Traverse that uses Dexcool of course. I want to buy a jug just to keep around for topping off the coolant if it gets a bit low. Is there any difference in brands you see at auto parts stores or should I buy it from the Chevy dealer?

I would Google "Dexcool problems" and then decide if you want to keep using it. I would not use it, but everyone has a different threshold for pain.:B

distilled water works fine for topping off

Thanks for the recommendation. As to a leak, I've never added any coolant in 2 years but like to have some on hand just in case I need to add a bit.

I would fix the leak, then you wouldn't need to add any.

Just use Zerex Dexcool.
