In my short time on this forum, the topic of the great and powerful 6.0L has come up numerous times and still goes on and on and on...5 pages now and probably more to come.
Bottom line, the 6.0L is a great motor, technologically advanced, amazing turbo, awesome power...but was riddled with problems and serviced by tech's who didn't know what they were doing. By now, we all know how to fix a 6.0L to make them a sure-fire dependable motor (well, as sure-fire as you can get). Anyone who purchases a used 6.0L diesel truck that has not been modified ought to be prepared to spend the money and make it right. Not worth arguing about. You can pick up these trucks for low prices, modify them, and still be ahead of the game financially.
