I don't know ... when I was shopping for a diesel back in '07 and '08, I really wanted a Super Duty. I researched and heard this about the '05-newer. But I drove and ran OASIS reports on more than a dozen trucks, and only came across a couple in my recollection that had not had quite a bit of warranty work done. Now, admittedly these were used trucks w/ only a couple years service, so probably problem children that were sold or traded in early, but the fact that virtually all of them that I looked at scared me off. Too bad, too, because it was my favorite all around package of the three.
