Fear not, like everything on the net the 6.0 problems are severely overblown. That and Ford haters.
Leave it and all diesels stock like the real engineers designed them.
Considering the massive preponderance of information and experience on the 6.0L PSD, I don't see how anyone can ever say that the "problems are severely overblown". And there's nothing wrong with not leaving them stock. All vehicles are made to please the general audience. No auto manufacturer would ever be able to keep up if they made every modification that people want. This guy wants loud exhaust, this guy wants quiet exhaust...........
I'm not brand loyal at all. I have a Ford F350 7.3L and Chevy Silverado 1500, a Toyota minivan, and John Deere lawnmower (just figured I'd throw that one in). I've had a Dodge Ram 1500 w/ the 360. I'm on my 2nd Ford and 2nd Chevy. Overall, the Dodge was the worst, but looking back, I should have kept it and fixed the problems.
