You can't neglect the servicing on the 6.0. The High Pressure Injector Pump pressurizes engine oil to 3000 psi. Any breakdown in the oil due to contamination will damage the system and result in costly repairs. All diesels need clean fuel to operate correctly, so change the filters at the proper interval. The coolant in the 6.0 is used to cool the exhaust gases in the EGR and are exposed to temperatures of over 1000 degrees. If you use the wrong coolant it crystalizes and clogs the EGR cooler, Oil Cooler, and radiator.
