Question about fresh water capacity 1989 Kit Espre model 244

I have a 1989 Kit Espre model 244 and I cannot find any information anywhere to the capacity of how much fresh water my camper will hold. Does anyone have any idea where I may find this on the internet? Or has anyone owned one of these that may know. I have never used it to hold water and plan on doing some boondocking and want to know how much water we will have with us. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  • measure it and compute by cu-inches to gallons (231)
  • Buy a 5 - 7 gallon water jug (maybe two). Use it, and a funnel to fill your tank. Count the number of jugs needed.

When you fill the hot water heater, it will take six gallons.

For boondocking, you'll probably want those jugs to carry extra water.

We boondock at our lake property, I carry four of the 7 gallon jugs. I even installed a transfer pump, so I don't have to lift and hold the jugs, when filling the tank.
  • So you have never put water in the fresh water tank......

Well you would be wise to do so and sanitize it and pump before planning on using it.

1/4 cub bleach per 15 gallons.......when unknown capacity use 1 cub mixed with 4 gallons of water and pour into tank then fill.
Turn on pump and flush thru it out faucet.
I would do the complete plumbing system.
Then let it sit for 4-6 hrs.
    Drain/fill/flush/rinse.

When draining....filling you can determine capacity

KIT was bought out by Extreme Warriors..they MAY have some info.
Long shot due to it being 25 yrs. old
