Did you check the oil level a zero miles? Is the 5,500 on the change or total miles, so you are down about 1 qt. at at 5,500. You could add a qt. to top off or continue to your first change. How many miles do you plan on changing at?
If it were me I would go to 7,500 mile no added oil and send a sample to BlackStone Labs. Unless you know for sure it was at full a zero miles, I would not worry about it unless you are sure it used a qt. in 5,500 miles.
