We went from a ~27ft Springdale to a 35ft rear kitchen Salem Hemisphere. We were using a Reese weight distribution hitch with friction sway control ... it clearly wasn't enough for the length, weight, and design of the new trailer.
The ProPride has made a night and day difference in towing. Now, where I live in the northwest, the freeway we tow on most is I-90. In many places, the tire ruts in the center/right lanes are enough that you can feel the ruts actually interfering with the tracking of my car, let alone our tow vehicle with trailer. But, the ProPride takes even bad highways like that from being unnerving (or even scary) to just "irritating." :) And when you're on nice roads, at highway towing speeds ... it's sooo nice!
For us, the price of the hitch is worth the greater peace-of-mind when towing, especially with long trailers.
