My classic, which I sold recently, was 15 ft. from front of ball to far rear of bumper. I would add an additional 1 ft. for the traditional clamp-on mount. I have seen some Aliners with the spare tire mounted to the hitch a-frame. This of course would add to the hitch weight. On my present hybrid camper, I modified the rear spare tire mount to reduce the amount of stick out beyond the bumper by several inches - Perhaps you can do the same.
