That's a nice truck and has a very strong trans. You won't go wrong.
FWIW, the trans "problems" in Dodge trucks are over stated. They had problems only because people jack up the HP. ANY trans suffers because of that.
The front ends will eventually go through ball joints but no more so than any other brand with a diesel - they are heavy.
