- stucExplorerThanks,l will check to see if anything is plugged
- stucExplorerThanks
There is a short hose on stove that l connect to female inside.l just move stove from inside to out and connect the two coupling together.l will look under and see if hose is kinked although the person whom l bought it from says it worked fine for her. - JLTN_JamesExplorerI'm assuming that you're using the same hose both inside and outside. Did you verify that the stove still works inside? Check the inlets/outlets to make sure they are clear of debris.
I had that problem with my nearly-worthless RVQue grill. I couldn't get enough propane to cook anything; just a flicker of flame. Turns out that the inlet sets a little lower than the bottom of the grill. Setting it down on the ground filled the inlet with dirt. Once I cleaned the inlet fitting the grill worked much better. - bondebondExplorerTo know that the lever at the quick connect is open, it should be in line or parallel with the hose. If it is sticking out, 90 degrees from the line of the hose, then it is in the "closed" position.
In order to unsafely check for gas at the quick connect, I would get another LP quick connect fixture (I see them all of the time at my propane dealer) and connect it then turn the valve lever to open. You should hear and smell the LP. The better way would be to get the LP detector that exeter_acres linked to and barely crack the valve in this situation, to minimize the escape of LP.
If you get nothing out of the end of the quick connector end, then it or something prior to it is blocked or pinched.
Make sure that the quick connect connectors are FIRMLY seated and that the spring-loaded collar goes back into the fully locked position. If not, pressure on the internal spring safety valve of the connector might not be enough to open the safety valve and allow LP to flow.
The connector on the actual stove itself, is this the same used on the inside where it works, or are you having to add a hose to the outside port that you do NOT use on the inside?
If you have to use a hose on the outside but don't necessarily need it on the inside, take that hose and use it inside to further narrow down the culprit. - stucExplorerSo l guess the lever at the quick connects control the flow of propane
The connection inside the camper worked great but when I move the stove outside a and connect it and open the lever no happens so lam guessing its not opening
What do u think
Thanks

I just looked at mine and there is no valve at the T.

- avoidcrowdsExplorerIs there a shutoff valve under your trailer? Mine has one, and I have to turn it on for my outside gas to flow.
- stucExplorerl'll tell u my problem,l down' want to check for leaks,l want to check my quick connect on the outside of my camper, yesterday l had my stove connected to propane inside my camper and when l moved it outside and connected it using a quick connect and l could not get any propane to the stove.
- BumpyroadExplorerfor grill tanks they say just to use a soap solution. don't know why that wouldn't work for quick connects?
