R Pod Camper Cover

Any R Podders out there? I bought a used 172 from a friend and we really do like it. Just me and the wife. I am looking for a cover for the pod. Plan to build a shelter, but want a cover until I can build a shelter. Looking at the Classic covers, but am confused as to what size to get. Any one out there have a 172 with a Classic Cover and if so what size or model cover did you get. If not Classic Cover, what brand cover do you have, size and model number. Thank you very much

    I'm in Tornado Alley, so I prefer a shelter to a cover. Until I could get into shelter, I was not convinced that any kind of fabic cover was worth the cost and effort, so I stored in the open through the first winter.

    Your environmental conditions may be different, but where I am, all I gain from a cover is some UV protection, staying exposed to hail damage, and more susceptible to wind damage than uncovered, as the cover rubs against the RV.
