But you would want to LOWER the pin box (or raise the hitch) to increase the clearance. Correct?
This is what I'm thinking as well. How high is your 5er at it's highest point hitched up?
With my '03 F250 SD w/ 16" tires, Timbrens, the 5er sat level w/ approx 6"-8" gap. On new truck, I lowered the truck hitch to lowest hole and lowered the 5er suspension 1 hole to raise the rear of 5er. I was nose high some and had prit near 6" gap at tailgate (more gap towards the front). Normally, probly wouldn't be too worried, but I also have a tonneau cover and it's rails sit 1.5" above the top of box. Keeping the truck hitch in same hole or raising it would put the 5er "very" nose high. So by lowering the truck and 5er's susp, I'm okay with things. Still a tad nose high, but better than before I made the adjustments.Just stinks as now I cannot see the truck hitch while hooking up for alignment.
