RAM 1500 EcoDiesel Productions Ends in January

I have to say I’m sad to hear this. If I could get away with a 1500, that is the engine I would want. Unlike the horror stories you hear online, my EcoDiesel Grand Cherokee was great. Clicky

Same as this whole thing about them getting rid of the Challenger and Charger. They're not selling well or they would find a way to keep making them.

While I believe that to be the case with the Eco Diesel, it is certainly not the case with the LX platform vehicles.
It's the goobermint regs that made it too expensive for Stellantis to keep offset fuel economy and emissions standards.

I'm old enough to remember way back when on RV.net a lot of people said if they would just make a 1/2 ton diesel I would buy it. Well, they made it and I guess a lot of those people were not telling the truth. Or not enough of them anyway.

Does Nissan still even make that Cummins thing? That thing cost as much as a 3/4 ton and got the fuel mileage of a 3/4 ton and had a payload of a Dodge Colt.
