RAM 2014 Class action suit

There must be more to the story than is in the article. First off, they are assuming this is a widespread issue, but they don't have any evidence to back it up in the article. Also, it seems like it would be a no brainer to put the right gears in the truck. If the window sticker calls out 3.55 gears and the vin on the window sticker matches the one on the truck, how can the dealer or Ram have a choice but to make it right? This just doesn't add up.
