- BenKExplorerThis has to do with trust...in all OEMs and in particular this OEM
I'm a GearHead, Wrench, BoyRacer since the late 1950's and have NEVER actually
checked my differential gear ratio...I trust that the OEM provided what the
documentation provided to me says
Dodge isn't man'ing up with their offer...they should just change it out and
refresh the whole vehicle warranty
I can see the government and lawyers asking for build sheets and spot checking
a bunch of them out there in the private sector
If they find *ONE* or more...not just an anomaly but basis for that Class Action Suit
Trust is so hard to attain and only through time...a looooong time
and so easily lost with something like this...if true - 45RicochetExplorerRam should step up and change the gears.
- Bionic_ManExplorerIf someone bought the truck specifically for the gearing, they should change it out. But I would bet that is a very small fraction of the owners. Most truck owners don't even know there are different gears.
