Looking at the pics they Ram coils DO look progressive to me, as indicated by the tighter wind at the top. This WILL have an effect on loaded towing, hard to say it won't.
No a swaybar does not make them progressive, but it does reduce wallow (I have ran coil suspensions at/above their max weight rating on other rigs with and without swaybars, as well as various shocks..not HD models, but a 4 link with panhard works pretty much the same across the board).
Equal squat means that they have a similar spring rate, which doesn't change just because you are moving. The biggest difference between the two, in terms of handling, will be placement relative to the wheel, as the leaf springs have a wider stance.
Just like a leaf spring a coil spring will increase resistance as it compresses, so the same nature that makes a leaf spring progressive in your views will make a coil spring progressive, thou that isn't what is meant by a progressive coil spring.
