Ram 2500 Hemi 6.4L vs GM 2500 HD and Ford SD gassers

The five link rear suspension is nothing like the Chev's of history. The new Ram 2500 rear shocks are wide set. They actually mount through the centerline of the frame members.

I had mid/late '60s GM 1/2 and 3/4 ton with the coil springs. Lets hope the Rams coils ain't nothing like them as they were flat dangerous with a high COG truck camper in the bed. The coils couldn't control body roll even with a double shock set up.
