You know it'sounds funny: people either think the coils will ride like a Caddy, or, they think because it'seems coils, it "can'take carry a load worth cr*p".
If you compare a coil 2500, it has more payload than say, a 2012 leaf sprung 2500, in nearly every cab / bed configuration. Spring constant is spring constant, if it's high enough to carry a heavy load, it will be stiff!
That said, we all have different tolerances. My Mini is by far the stiffest, mainly due to high damping. Followed by my ZF. Then the old V10 2500 with camper package. My Ram 1500 and 2006 Explorer on Rancho are Cadillacs relatively. The coil 2500 feels similar to my VA, but a LOT more refined.
