I would point out the the coil 2500 is on the newer HD frame that the 3500 got in 2013 and the 2500 in 2014, which allowed for higher GVWRs. I believe the frame had more to do with the ratings increase than the coils. And tires! 18" or 20" rated to 3640 each became standard on most trim/model levels of the SRW trucks. RIP 17" tires and wheels. Chris
