I can get 21 to 23 empty with cruise set at 70 and no head wind. But, I hardly ever drive empty. Try to save the truck for towing. Where did you get the name steel pony? I am guessing motorcycle. My steel pony tossed me off and down into a ravine. I am sitting in a wheelchair right now looking at about another month to recover from a broken pelvic bone.
