I have an 18 purchased last summer. 2500 with the 6.4 and 4:10. Had a 2012 Diesel. My towing is only for the RV, not other use. Diesel was a bit nicer pulling long grades on interstate. Otherwise, I am perfectly happy with the 6.4. Much cheaper to maintain. Fuel cost far less here in PA. Nothing bad to say and love the 4:10's. I pull about 9500-10K lbs by the way. I love diesel trucks but can't justify the price difference anymore, and I am no longer dealing with worrying about DPF burn off from local running around, etc. You will love it!
