The beauty of diesels (I'm assuming you've never driven based on this comment) is that they don't need high HP/ high PRMs to get the job done. They just chug up the hill and use their TQ to get the job done. If you enjoy pulling hills at 5K RPM in 2nd/3rd gear so be it. Been there, done that...
The 6.4 may be the best gas option out there right now but saying its higher HP figures means its a better puller than a diesel is simply foolish.
