I've worked with diesels and gassers hard all my life...I have no idea what you are talking about.
True fact that a diesel will pull a hill at a lower RPM ...that just means nothing to me. Modern gassers are not breaking a sweat at 4-5k RPM.
It sounds like you are RPM adverse.. And that's fine.
I don't drink cool-aid ... I have zero idea what your talking about there.
Higher HP wins speed tests ... Doesn't matter if it's gas or diesel. Highest HP wins.
Two different tools to do the same job... That's all
