I test drove a 2014 6.4 with 3.73 gears and it didn't strike me as anything more than my 5.7 Tundra, but the Tundra has 4.30 gearing, and the 5.7 I-force engine is a rocket compared to my old 5.4 Ford, and not far off my v10 triton (but much better on fuel)...in fact the v10 was one of my favorite engines.
I do like the look of the Ford better than the Ram, but It seems the Ram has a better gas motor, and perhaps better riding suspension as the coil rear is getting good reviews and doesn't seem to sag as much as Ford's leaf spring rear.
