If you read the diesel supplement maintenance schedule it says "Drain the transmission oil" which means remove the plug and drain then refill. At 60K it says replace filter which would require dropping the pan and refilling.
IF they are including a flush which will replace most of the torque converter and cooler oil it will most likely require the removal of one of the cooler lines for the connection of flush equipment. Maybe the dealer has a new trick which lets them flush the cooler and converter without using a line but I've never seen it mentioned. So, are they really going to flush it or are they going to just drop it and refill?
Ok I got ya on the lines now. It's a moot point now since I pressed them on doing the 30,000 mile service. It will be a drain and replace this time, then at 60,000 drop the pan and replace the filter.
