The OP never got a cord from the dealer. I had one on my truck that disappeared!
I have a gas Ram that came with an engine block heater. I live in the north, so sometimes it gets pretty cold and I plug it in. Some winters I never plug it in. A few years ago, I hit a deer and had the front end of the truck redone. This winter, I went to plug it in and...no cord. I think the shop that fixed it just cut the cord and never installed a new one. Gonna have to get under there and install another cord.
