Ford does not install the block heater unless ordered, the exception is that they are installed in trucks delivered to a number of northern states. On the 6.7, there is a threaded plug above the starter that is removed and the heater is then screwed in, done quickly there is little coolant loss. Oh, I'll take that bet.
The block heater is not just about somehow getting an engine started, but it is much better for it to have the oil circulating better at start up.
