Actually cold oil flowing thru the warmer block and head will warm up on contact.
???OK how does oil flow when the truck is not running? We are talking about basically a hot water element warming up the coolant and basically only on the right side of the block. Yes as the water warms up it will warm the rest of the anti-freeze up but only if you have it plugged in long enough. The oil is going to be cold on start up even if the truck in plugged in.
