- fj12ryderExplorer IIISo this is for specifically 2022 models, not "late models"? From my reading it appears to be 2022 and mostly last quarter builds. Not quite the sky is falling, and it does seem to be covered by Ram, or did I miss where people are having to pay for the failure out-of-pocket?

I guess no one read this link I posted with over a 121 late model Aisin failures reported...y'all rather take jabs at each other then talk about the K1 snap ring failures on these new trucks :)

not saying this isnt an issue.... it apoears to be one......
BUT, i saw and read what the issue is realky quick in comments.
now comes the 127 out of how many units total....
now we're into the one airplane flight down a day.... woukd you fly again? DR loses 1 in 10 patients doing surgery, another is 1-1000 for same procedure......
With my blathering here. The clip issue in trans is and woukd be more of s concern that the video with comments making it apoear to be an over idling issue, which WILL cause issues with any manufactures diesel in a light duty vehicle ie under DOT class 3/14000 gvwr.

I have not claimed no issues with the 22's. Could be or not I really don't know. If this "problem" does exist I am sure it would be a hot topic on the TDR.
The guy posting the video sure could have shown some proof of the issue with oil analysis or engine tear down pic burt chose to drone on for almost 30 minutes. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Those videos are horrible! nothing but repeat the same sentence from what I can see. He can cut both of them in half time wise, if he would not walk around the truck blabbering about nothing at all.
Got two minutes in, quit watching.
The link to the 22 page sticky came up after I looked at fish's second post.....
Still, this guy needs to get to the point sooner than later. I gave up on both at about 2 minutes.
My 02 on these video's.

I wanted to quit but I really wanted to see these AISIN failures. But as usual bashing a non subject.

I was hoping IF there was a proven failure per say, it would be a bit sooner in the video as to what and how it occurred.
I wont go as farvas Ron and say there are NO failures of the components... be them factory problem, or neglect etc from the owner of the rig. I've had ALL the above occur with things in my lifetime. I'm also one to ask, what things fail most often, repairs etc and why? Things break down!
Im also not going to spend 20 min listening, or should i say readfing the CC part, with them going in circles either.
At the end, even if the video was about my prefered truck manufacture, the guy failed imho to show where the issue is.

Sort of crazy but I just saw Ram hot shot Dually on I-70.
I noticed it was a Hemi and not a Cummins and I thought that was odd?
What was he hauling?
It was a 3 car/equipment goose neck equipment trailer similar to the one in the U tube video. He was carrying 1 car at the time. - BB_TXNomadHere is some recent discussion about the problem on the HDRam forum. You can read it without joining. Just scroll down. Takes a while to load for some reason.
- Grit_dogNavigator^ Because they last so long, silly. (And they’re easier to delete…)
