Wow, you'd think the hot shotters would be using something other than Ram/Cummins if they're falling apart all along the roadside, but I seem to see just as many as ever. Maybe it isn't as big a deal as the youtubers, desperate for clicks and views, would want us to believe. Just a thought.
They are... seeing less and less Ram's every year now. And you never would see a HD Ram Hemi and now I see them daily. Heck even Ram service trucks are now popular with the Hemi which is unimaginable.
So what part of TX are you hiding??? Oil field independents hauling gooseneck big flatbeds are nearly ALL RAM/Cummins in the greater Midland area. Maybe they don't work them too hard. :B - Cummins12V98Explorer III

But I guess trolling for 12Vs is fun too! Lol
I agree it's fun to banter but at least state some fact. Kinda like how he always posted head gasket issues but NEVER stated the fact they all were deleted or tuned.
Not saying Cummins/RAM is without issue but the guys that make a living with their trucks choose RAM/Cummins and that is just a fact. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Just traveled West from AZ on 10 to DFW, TX. Nearly ALL hotshotters driving RAMS with a few Fords and nearly no GM's.
As I mentioned "IF" a real issue exists I would have heard of it on the TDR the most respected web site for the mighty Cummins.
Post problems all ya want but at least don't add something that is not on the video. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Those videos are horrible! nothing but repeat the same sentence from what I can see. He can cut both of them in half time wise, if he would not walk around the truck blabbering about nothing at all.
Got two minutes in, quit watching.
The link to the 22 page sticky came up after I looked at fish's second post.....
Still, this guy needs to get to the point sooner than later. I gave up on both at about 2 minutes.
My 02 on these video's.

I wanted to quit but I really wanted to see these AISIN failures. But as usual bashing a non subject. - Grit_dogNavigator II

With gas a dollar a gallon, or more, cheaper, about the same mileage, a little lower maintenance, why wouldn't you see more gas engines? Just makes sense to me.
Sort of crazy but I just saw Ram hot shot Dually on I-70.
I noticed it was a Hemi and not a Cummins and I thought that was odd?
Lantley meant “dumb” when he said “odd”, lol.
It makes zero sense, or cents, to have a gasser hotshot truck. Actually it makes negative cents!
Unless maybe he was hot shotting only in the city with a little tiny trailer. But around here we call those couriers… - fj12ryderExplorer III

So most of the 5th generation Rams, 2019, 2020, and 2021 don't have issues? Hmm from the sky-is-falling post to open this thread I thought it was all the years. Who knew? Oh well, maybe next time.
