:) Hi, just saying; If the Dodge frames are so good why are there so many aftermarket re-inforcement kits for them??????? I don't see those for Ford or Chevy.
Owned a 2010, 12 and now the 13 and haven't a clue what you're talking about:h..Spend a lot of time on the Cummins forum and TDR forums, only looking at 4th Generation mind you, but haven't seen anything about people buying "reinforcement kits" for their trucks frames:h. The 2013 3500's had a brand new frame , in 2014 the 2500 got the new frame..What kind of reinforcement kits are you talking about? We ARE talking about new generation Dodge/Ram trucks, ie all new frame... Watch the video this thread is about and though not "real world" that trucks would get into this position....which do you truly think needs a frame "reinforcement kit??????? (had to count, but yeah, you used 7 question marks, thought I would also.:)
:) Hi, check out previous post to read what I'm talking about. This kit includes all of the years that you mentioned. :S
You're talking about beefing up a truck to take "off road":S, as in REALLY OFF ROAD..Had to dig for that one, huh? One picture/video is worth a thousand words as the old saying goes and It appears the Ford frame is weaker than the Ram frame, ie, not able to hold it's weight up without causing issues in trying to open tailgate, etc..So it makes me think that one picture, (video), is worth a thousand words as the old saying goes.
My truck is OEM, not planning on 4 wheeling "off road"..not planning on taking chances with my warranty.
Again, does this company ONLY offer this product For the Dodge Ram truck only or is it also offered to Ford and GM/Chevy truck owners also...ie, after market for what purpose?
Oh, see next post...I posted true, pertinent information on some frame details about the Ram.
