I have no issues pulling my toy hauler, although I do use a superglide hitch, no concerns of ever busting my back window.
I had 3:73 gears in my 2013 Ram mega dually. My 2017 Ram mega dually, I ordered with 4:10 gears. The 4:10 gears pull better and I actually get better fuel mileage empty and towing than I did with my last truck.
