Ram outsells Chevy

These post are useless. All it really tells you is more Ram fans bought trucks for this period. Same when GM or Ford lead. Doesn't mean one is any better than the other.
just something for brand owners to argue about.

Ok, I should have understood that. Yes the sales people know that $600 per month will buy quite the truck if the customer is willing to make payments on it for the next 10 years.

Thank you. I was given the privilege of taking over a business, along with my brother (one of the trucks is his), that our father poured a generation of hard work into. As well, I'm 53 years old and have lived a fairly modest lifestyle, so, although we are doing quite well financially, it might sound more impressive than it actually is.

I have always like the look of the Rams as they are great looking trucks, but I have never personally owned one. I really liked the Ecodiesel my bro-in-law (he works for a dealer) was driving last weekend... until I saw the door sticker.

It was a Big Horn extended cab, nicely equipped, but certainly not loaded, but it had only 1258lbs of payload. Great fuel mileage and tons of towing power, but can't carry much...bummer.

So you went to one GM dealer and talked to one sales person who told you that GM trucks were 10K more and you went and bought a Ford.

We actually got three quotes from GM and two from Ford. GM dealers were all similar and when pushed the second Ford dealer was willing to come pretty close to the first one. We bought two Platinums and got about 18k taken off the Camadian MSRP on each truck.
