And yet it wasnt brought up by any Ram owners from the Cummins forums to rv.net where most Rams are 3/4 ton and better and tow heavy..??
I believe it was discussed here when it came up last fall but I could be wrong. If you're going to go trolling you ought to start using better bait. Pretty lame. :R
So trying to save lives is trolling? In that case colour me troll!! I will gladly wear that badge.

Good grief... - WhatchauptoExplorerMy '12 looks a little different than the photo, but I checked them with a wrench anyway. They are tight. Don

Yeah sorry about that I guess I could have been clearer .
I got you now... It had been discussed to some degree on the Cummins forum, to where I crawled underneath my truck to check it out.. - shepstoneExplorer

Funny, I am on TDR every day, and I have not seen this.
After ready the Cummins forum, it is confusing how loose lock nuts cause the steering wheel to get off center, unless the threads are stripping. Chris
I think the first post describes it.
QUOTE. "There appears to be almost no thread left inside and the clunking was the sound of the threaded drag link beginning to jump the threads and pull out. The drag link can be moved around by hand inside the sleeve, where there appears to be some powdery rust residue" UNQUOTE - shepstoneExplorerYeah sorry about that I guess I could have been clearer .
- drittalExplorerYeah, I couldn't understand shepstone's first post. Now I understand what he meant. It made almost no sense until explained.

Still clear as mud. So a lot of people purchase 3/4 ton trucks; is that the point?
:? Still hadn't figured out what he was alluding to, then doing a 180, talking about 3/4 trucks.... Most curious.
What I am alluding to is that I am surprised that didnt seem to have been brought up sooner as this is a forum where most people drive 3/4 and heavier trucks which is what seems to be most affected - shepstoneExplorer
