But when your purchase a truck from a foreign company like ram I guess it doesn't matter.
This is false, Ram is not a foreign company. It is a US based company and is a division of another US based company, FCA US, which is a subsidiary of the stock holding company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, based out of London and is owned by shareholders. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles also has another subsidiary called FCA Italy for vehicles built in other global markets. The parent company of Ram, FCA US, may have most of it's shares owned by a foreign holding company, but Ram itself is still a US company along with FCA US per US government standards. Although many US companies have stocks owned or held by foreign companies.

I am still trying to figure out why trucks like the Ram or engines like the Powerstroke being built in Mexico even matters. If everything a person owns is US made then I can see them saying something, but to say something while still owning stuff made outside of the the US is a bit hypocritical.
Also, does the fact that a vehicle/engine is built outside the US means that it is of less quality? If so, then both sides of this argument have something to loose. You either pay Juan to build it so he can feed his family so they don't end up making drugs to sell in the US or you pay some union worker who in-turn pays the union who will use it to get another politician elected that will make laws in their favor. Which is worse will be up to you.
Seriously I think the only reason why you kids even bring it up is just so you guys can say your favorite is better than someone else's favorite. Going out of your way just to piss in someone else's Cheerios is not a trait of a grown man, and is more a trait of a adolescent douche bag.
