It's a little different deal but I had my water pump fail at 30k-ish miles under bad circumstances. With family towing camper back from vacation and the truck went t!ts-up on a rural stretch of freeway on a 100 degree day. I had it towed to an independent shop and repaired there because the Ram dealer service department was closed that weekend in the little town we were in and we were still 3+ hours from home. It ended up being stuck waiting for parts for several days so we had to bum a ride home with family and then go back later in the week to get the truck. Long story short, Ram reimbursed me for my out of pocket on the repairs by the independent shop. It took them a good month but it was a reasonably painless process handled through emails.
That's the only issue I've had in now about 35k miles and two and a half years, and hopefully it was a one time deal.
