Comp deductible is common at $500 yes but glass coverage is usually $100. Mine used to be $50 10 years ago or so.
Yes $500 is common for collision, $500 is common for comprehensive, well thats a stretch, at least for my comprehensive , which has been $50 for as long as I can remember.
Confirming with my auto insurance glass is not separate , it just states comprehensive $50 deductible. So this $500 is certainly not common with Allstate, I loose a windshield its $50 or anything else for that matter.
Allstate did say some insurance companies do separate glass from other comprehensive claims, for what reason, maybe lower premiums.
